Gary C. Wyatt breaks ground on a new Samford University Track and Field Facility

August 2010 - Gary C. Wyatt, Inc. has been awarded the contract to build the new Track and Field facility and stadium at Samford University. The complex will include a nine-lane track, with each lane measuring 48-inches wide. In addition to the track, a regulation soccer field will be built inside the track. The stadium will have a seating capacity of 1,200 and 360 of those seats will have chair backs. The new complex also includes a 5,000-square-foot support building which will house a a concession stand, ticket booth, public restrooms, equipment storage and locker rooms. The facility also will include a 300-square-foot press box.
